Thank You

I believe we have all been given unique gifts and talents that can bless others' lives in ways unimagined. What one individual considers a silly quirk about themselves that couldn't possibly benefit even one person usually ends up being their gift to all mankind that benefits hundreds and sometimes thousands who cross their path; rarely do they ever know that they've affected another soul or how they've affected them. For one reason or another it would be so easy to withhold ones gifts and I admire the courage it takes to share them and participate in customized relationships. For this reason I am grateful tonight to those who have been willing to share their's with me.

I am so grateful for family and friends who have had the courage and taken the time to develop their unique gifts and talents and then were willing to share them with me instead of insecurely withholding them. I don't think I've ever understood what a great service that is. For me this is particularly meaningful because 1) it is important to me to have deep and meaningful relationships with those I care about; I understand that that takes time and that it will not happen overnight and 2) it is due to these deep and meaningful relationships that I am who I am.

I am overwhelmed by this feeling of eternal gratitude to those who so unselfishly cultivate a relationship that is fostered by love, understanding, and compassion through their time, service, and sacrifice. It has meant and will continue to mean the world to me
