Camping Trip

Invitation to anyone interested in a fun weekend of Camping and Fishing.
(Also a fun night at the Mormon Miracle Pageant)
Date: Thursday June 21st to 23rd

Place: Manti, Utah

Let me know if anyone is intersted in going and I will put more information about how to reserve a camp sight on the internet.

Sounds good to me. Like I said yesterday we don't have anything to sleep in yet. So could we rent a camp site if we are only going to sleep in a tent??

Heres information for anyone who is interested in the camping trip. If you know you are definitely going, I suggest to reserve your campsight as soon as possible. They fill up quickly because of the Pageant being so popular and there are only nine campsights. I can reserve the group sight if we need to. It will hold 30 people.

The campsights are $8.00 a night. There is also a reservation fee. The websight is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] The name of the campground is Manti Community. Our family is going on Wed. the 20th of June until Sat. the 23rd of June. We can go to the pageant on Thurs. or Friday, whichever is best for everyone.

The campground is eight miles up Manti Canyon. It is a dirt road but not a rough dirt road. Cars can easily go up the canyon. I will get a map to everyone who is going as it gets closer.

There are ATV trails surrounding the campground and also a lake for fishing.
We have always really enjoyed the spot. For anyone with trailers or motorhomes, check the length of the campsight to make sure it will fit. There is water at each spot but no hookups for electricity or sewage.

Maybe our third child will want to learn to ride up there (for his birthday). Sounds good. I'm excited! I'd definitely like to get my kids into the fishing thing. Let me know what I need to do to get that all in order.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to go. My husband is taking the young men on a scout trip for the whole week after your Manti trip. He is going to need that weekend to get ready. And he wants to work as much as possible, since he won't be able to for a whole week. I'm sad! I was excited about going.

I was hoping we would go in a group. I think it would be fun that way. We will reserve ASAP if the group thing doesn't work. What do you think LnF??? By the way I think the Cook's are coming.

I would love to go too, but our life is so up in the air at the moment with starting our business. I'm not sure exactly how we're going to be doing in June or I would say count us in as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the entire campground has filled up already. I checked it yesterday and it was full. We have a campsite reserved. So we are still going, but we will have to plan something else later on that doesn't fill up so fast so everyone can go. Sorry!! It would have been fun for everyone to go that was interested. Oh well!!

That is a total bummer. My boys were really looking forward to it. They're gonna be sad - especially my oldest. We'll definitely have to plan on another one. Does anyone have any suggestions for where we could go?

Their is no way that is the only camp ground in Manti.

So are you saying, to camp there that same weekend at a different spot and still go to the pageant?
