Confession of a Christmas Tree slacker

I'm such a slacker!!! Our tree still isn't up and I don't want to put it up. Am I a terrible mom or what?! I know I'll get it done, I just am dreading it. Thank goodness my boys are willing to retrieve it out of the basement for me and bring it up stairs. I did also just remember that last year I taught them how to put it together.... Maybe I don't really have to do anything after all. I'm such a lazy slacker!!!!

Don't be so hard on yourself! Who says Christmas trees have to be up by a certain time? I know people who don't put up their tree until half way into December...or who don't get around to taking it down until mid-January. Thanksgiving was so early this year that it seems the holiday season just sneaked up on us!

Just kick back & enjoy the season. And give yourself a pat on the back for teaching those boys how to put up the tree.

(BTW, we just got our tree last night. The lights are on it tonight & we'll finally get around to decorating it tomorrow. Don't ask about exterior Christmas lights; that's a different story.)
