 The Dr Phil show just called me!!!!!!! I cant believe it!!! Im so mixed with emotion, I cant type my hands are jittery! I filled out the form last night about this time on his website... Low and behold, less than 24 hours later..... They actually just called me!!!!  Man, My heart is racing. I had to spill out as much as I could. I felt so bad due to my jerky voice and sniffling nose from crying, but they were so sympathetic! The only bad news is they are calling the FIL right now, I know he will have no involvement. I explained to the producer that he wouldn't give her (or me) the time of day, and I understand how it wouldn't be a good show with out him there. She said even if he wont be involved, she will do everything she can to try and help us cause she could tell its hurting me so bad. All I can do now is   |

| Re: The Dr Phil show just called me!!!!!!! I have to admit that I was very surprised when I read this post. This will be an interesting opening liner to tell your therapist on Monday! "Um....yeah, about my sessions w/ you, I may not be needing your services anymore because Dr. Phil may be taking it from here."  Have you talked to dh about this? What does he think? That would be great if FIL was on board. I think you're one brave chick to take the bull by the horns w/ the help of the bull fighter of them all. Hope it works out, mx. Good luck! |

I feel the same, The stuff between me and DH is a little too private. But the rest of his family... thats another story. So if it doesn't work out because FIL refused to do it... then at least I can tell that to everyone  The best thing would be to get my SIL #2 on a lie detector... She accused me of aiming my gun at her. I will admit when she walked in my house unannounced well after midnight I was on my way to get my gun, but I was nowhere near having it in my hand, or down the hallway before I found out it was her. She even told people she had to ask me to put it down!!! I'm so ready for a lie detector!!!!!! She would look so stupid!!! |

There's nothing worse than when Dr. Phil's show degenerates into Jerry Springer-esque behavior. I'm always so embarrassed for those people who just revert to screaming accusations back and forth and don't let Dr. Phil get a word in edgewise... silly people... I agree, stuff between you and DH is not for tv, but in-law garbage? THey've made that public already in your town, so it's out there now! |

I am just not a TV person. I have heard him explain issues and confront people on different occasions. I have just never watched his show Hum... Is there a better show I should contact about the in-law crap? I mean this could be a fun game for me..... Having all the shows call and harass them   |

I was so worked up emotionally re hashing certain events I didn't think to ask if she would be calling me back and letting me know either way. I have the paramount pictures # on my caller ID. But I dont think I want to be the type to call back..... "HEY, what about me and your show?" This could be as far as it goes. I will keep everyone informed of any news Its still an exciting moment. On the email page where I gave my info, it stated how they would email if they had any further interest or concerns for the show... I never even got an email. Straight to the phone baby! Thats kind of sad, but its still funny! |

| Re: The Dr Phil show just called me!!!!!!! I agree, Dr. P is your guy. I've only seen an episode here and there- it's on during the day and I don't watch daytime tv, but what I've seen, I've been impressed with his style. He is smart and he cuts to the chase. Anyway, good luck!!! |
