| Okay so I have recently discovered some health issues that answer a lot of questions to why I have been feeling so sick lately. As some of you know I have stopped birth control. Thinking it was that causing wierd symptoms. Well the doctor took my blood last week because they couldn't figure it out. I was told on Friday that I have a hyper thyroid and it the hormone levels are way off. I had my daughter about 7 months ago and haven't gotten over that postpartum feeling really. And actually after starting this exercise thing I noticed my body hitting rock bottom. Sometimes I almost fell asleep while driving! I guess having Hypo (the term for hyper thyroid) will cause increased or decreased weight gain (now I now why I feel extra pudgy So I am being put on thyroid medicine tomorrow and have been told I will get my energy back and the motivation to move! It'll be nice to get it taken care of. |

| I've heard that makes a huge difference. I'm so glad you were able to figure out what the problem is. It's nice to know we're not crazy. I always seem to know when I have strep and my husband makes fun of me the whole time I'm saying it and especially after I make an appointment and when I come home, sure enough, that's what I had. I'm not saying that's what your husband does, I'm just saying it's always nice to know there's a reason behind not feeling like ourselves. Now you can get back to the and the and the and the and the and the every day and can even consider the idea of getting sometime in the future because you'll feel like because you don't feel like anymore. Let us know how it goes! |

| Ok, first of all I'm so glad you found a reason for your symptoms and that the doctors are able to help you. But I had to tell you I read your post on decorating the baby's room and your girls bunking up together for the next one and then I came across this post and all your symptoms are just like my pregnancy ones and I thought for sure you were going to say you were pregnant. Just had to share. I laughed out loud. Not about your diagnosis of course, but just of what I was thinking. My sister actually had to have her thyroid removed and was doing much better on medication then she had done in years. I hope the best for you. Dia |

I can tell you that once you get your thyroid under control your life will be a LOT better. My mom had her thyroid removed and when/if she missed taking her meds, she is like a zombie. But when she takes them, she is completely different. So to say the least, this is great that they found out what's wrong and can fix it. Many happy days ahead. |
