Oh, What a Beautiful Morning!

Man, was today gorgeous! I absolutely loved the weather today. DS and I did school out on the front porch today instead of staying inside. It was such a nice break from the gray skies. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the snow, I just really love the sunny days as well. It was so refreshing!

I also have loved the weather the last couple of days! Have you noticed that it's starting to stay lighter longer? And I woke up at 7am this morning and it was light, as if it were 7:30am, when I normally wake up! My attitude was very different too this morning and I think it has alot to do with the warmer weather and it being lighter latter!! I love Spring time, I'm so ready for SPRING!

OK, I'm not feeling it right now. Yesterday was near freezing with the wind-chill factor, and the wind was howling all night. Just the sound of it makes me cold! Maybe you guys just shipped your cold weather eastward, eh? Thanks a lot.

I do love the sunshine & the earlier light, though! Our bedroom faces west, so we don't get the benefit as much as the kids do, but if it helps them wake up earlier so I don't have to drag them out of bed to get ready for school, that's OK by me!

Oh, that's such a bummer that it's still so cold where you live. My in-laws just left this morning for two weeks to go out to Clinton, MA and they were hoping it wouldn't be too cold. They'll be so sad when they get off the plane. Oh well. I hope things warm up for you guys!

I love this spring weather as well. It has made a huge different in my attitude towards life. Things feel so much more manageable.

It's supposed to really storm tonight & be "freezing rain" by tomorrow. I think it will get a little better by the weekend. I hope your parents enjoy their stay.

Isn't it interesting how weather can affect your mood? I have felt cranky lately, and I realize a big portion of it has to do with being pregnant, and not sleeping very well. Last night I slept so well, and with the weather today it made me really happy! I do enjoy the snow, but I am really looking forward to spring. It is hard to not want to smile when it is sunny and nice outside!
