Rainy Days

I love rainy days. It gives me an excuse to stay inside, catch up on housework, and read a good book.

What do you like to do on rainy days?

Personally it work -- but I do enjoy sitting at a window and just watching the rain fall. I also really like to drive in the rain for some strange reason... I think it brings back great memories from family vacations as a youth -- I remember the rainy ones for some reason.

I love rainy days because they are cool and leave the world smeeling so good. I love the smell of rain. I also really like not having to water my yard. What I don't love is having my kids inside all day doing the things they would like to be doing outside It's fun to get together with our blankets and watch movies.

If I wasn't such a poop, I'd let my boys play in the rain too. I loved doing it as a kid...

Hmm, in fact next time it rains (sans the lightning of course), I'm going to encourage them to run around in it and get all soaking wet! I think that will be good fun.

I spent a large portion of my childhood in Arizona and have fond memories of the monsoon storms so I love running outside in the rain. My sister and I would even go out and wash our hair in the rain sometimes. But please, BS, wait until the weather is warmer to send them out there as I know they will get sick if we send them out to get soaking wet in this kind of weather.

Anyway, I love that I don't have to water the grass or my beautiful flowers either. I love that I wake up to nitrogen charged grass every morning. The green is so vibrant! I also love that any allergies I may have had this season are null and void because of the rain.

I won't, it's not much fun unless it's still 80 degree's + otherwise they are just cold.
