Stake Lagoon Day

I just wanted to ask if anyone in my neck of the woods knew when our Stake Lagoon Day was. I am wanting to take my family this year and remember in the past there was a good discount on Stake Lagoon Day. Please let me know if you have any info. or where to get that info. Thanks.

I just wanted to update anyone interested that Stake Lagoon Day is August 10th. I got my tickets today. I am so excited. I am like a little kid at that place. Let me know if anyone else is going.

we won't be able to go because it is our anniversary getaway that weekend. Maybe next year!

A member of our bishopric picked them up for us from the Stake offices. The tickets gives you a discount of $12.45 on each regular ride pass.

It's a good deal. My sister's sister-in-law can get us anytime discount passes for $29 each, which is pretty good, but this is better. I've got to remember on Sunday to pin someone down about getting passes for our ward. I haven't heard anything about it yet, except here.

I wonder why...

BW, I just e-mailed our Bishop and asked him if he knew anything the who's and the whatsitz. I'm going to guess since this is a Stake activity, the High Councilman assigned to your ward is who is supposed to get information to you guys. I'm waiting to hear for sure. I'll let you know.

Oh, gotcha! I just had to do a little bit of math.

LnF, is the discount only for regular ride passes? I can tell I need to have a gander at those passes. I'm thinking it would be fun (if we can swing it) to take our two oldest boys. They talk about going all the time.

We've never taken ours before- I promised them I would take them this year, so discount passes are the best way!

My Bishop just e-mailed me back, this is what he had to say. Sorry, BW, this doesn't really answer your question.
