Do you all remember what Senioritis felt like? I totally have that. I'm going on my second week of it. I totally am ready for school to be out. I am so done w/ this school year. I'm so ready for the freedom to do what I feel like doing when I feel like doing it. I have totally wanted to play w/ the kids, stay up late and watch movies, play night games, etc., and summer just can't come soon enough. I'm wondering if anyone else is feeling this way? I'm wondering if I feel this way because I had a newborn last summer. Oh well, all I know is I'm ready for a little more flexibility.

That's funny, I feel the same way. I've been ignoring it just so I wouldn't get too excited, but I'm ready too. According to your sig, we've only got 9 days left though. But I'll need to start ignoring that too.

How about macey's and back. With gas prices... we'll never mind. I don't know, but don't we have a camp out coming up?

It is exciting to have the kids getting ready to get out of school. I cannot wait as well and I have so many things that I want to do with the kids this summer. It does get easier as the little ones get older to mobilize. I want summer to come and I don't. JJ will be graduating 8th grade in 9 more days. High school. BLAH! Makes me feel old or something. I know he is excited but doesn't it seem like we were all just in high school ourselves? He has a newfound maturity so hopefully that will help him. His last summer of goofing off before the big time.

Me too, Ima. I am glad it's arriving (our school ends this Friday...in two days), but on the other hand, then I gotta figure out what to do with them. I'm working on plans, but I'm so burned out from this Spring, it's been hard to think about it. But, with 5D, I totally feel a road trip coming on too, gas prices be d---d. We need to go somewhere and goof off and buy useless souvenirs and take funny pictures. Windows? How did windows get in the picture?

I am so ready too. I am so tired of assigned homework and getting the kids off to school in the morning and all the hub bub when they come home. I can't wait to be in charge of the "homework" so we can concentrate on the things we are all interested in. I know when I am burned out when my son comes home and says he is missing three jounal enteries and I don't even care. This week has been a pain with all the "spirit week activities". I have gotten three different notes, that say three completely different things and I have absolutely no idea what is going on. The kids seem to know though and seem to be partcipating in everything they want to, so that is good. I am especially excited, because this summer DH will have every other Friday off so we can go on overnight camping trips on Thursdays when the canyon will not be so crowded or even hit the drive in on a night that shouldn't be so busy. We also have our anniversary overnighter next month and our big family vacation on the coast. The kids are so excited every time the hear someone mention Seattle. They are already picking up on certain things that are related to Seattle. So they are going to love doing their "research" and then seeing everything in real life when we get there in August. Yeah for summer. Dia

I am with you! I can't wait to stop thinking about what's due when and who is behind and who has piano lessons and who is supposed to go to school early today and this month especially, who has what activity going on! This last couple of weeks of May have been INSANE for school activities. And I'm thinking washing windows is an interesting euphemism... 5 school days left... we aren't counting the weekends! Then it's vacations, outings, movies, late nights, picnics, water trampoline, naps (for me), and FREEDOM!! This is the first year in a long time that I've been excited. By August, I'll be over it, I'm sure
