For anybody who needs a 12X12 ceramic tile to finish their vinyl lettering projects...I have a couple extra. Great Christmas gifts! Home Depot was selling the last 7 of them for .61/each. I bought them all, figuring I could have a stash for wedding gifts. I probably only need 3-4, though. Let me know if you would like to take a look. They are a beautiful earthy-toned brownish/tan. They would look great with any of the lettering colors (I have black, but I think dark brown would be stunning). Send me a PM if you're in need.

So, I have a question about all this tile lettering. I have some (actually Diva I heard that you have mine? If so, I need to come pick them up.) Anyway, my questions are, do the tiles need to be 12x12 and what kind of tile? Does it matter? I have some tile from our house being built in Nevada, but it's pretty heavy because it's really good quality tile. Does it matter how much it weighs?

I do have your vinyl lettering. Sorry for not contacting you earlier. Are you coming to the Christmas party tonight? I can just bring it then if I don't get it to you earlier today. Yes, the tiles need to be 12 x 12 and it doesn't matter what kind of tile or how much it weighs. I have heard, however that you want to get a tile that has a smooth surface for the best adhesion. Also, the weight only affects which stand you choose to display it on. i.e. If your tile is heavy, you'll want to get a stand that can carry it's weight easily.

Oh yeah...Diva do you have my Wall size quote as well? I think it was mailed to you with the rest of the batch.

I got an absolutely gorgeous granite tile, since it was the only black 12X12 tile I could find (and I needed black specifically) at Home Depot. I'm excited to use it, but it's definitely a chunky monkey. I've been really worried about where to get a heavy-duty holder (easle thing-a-ma-bobber) for it. The vinyl lettering lady suggested TaiPan, and I love that place but it's kind of far away. Anybody have any other ideas? Where did y'all get yours?

I think my neighbor bought her easel at Robert's. I am not sure, though. But it seems like they might have something.

I've also gone to Pheobe's here in town. It's where Dave's Drugs used to be. They have things like that - maybe even Homebodies will have stuff like that.

Hmmmm, well maybe I need to re-think using my tile. It's a pretty bumpy surface , so the vinyl probably won't stick very well from what has been said about it. Well, MeticulousM, do you still have tile you're giving away? If so, I'd love to have it. I need three. Let me know.

Hey there my friend! I do have 3 and they are yours for the taking. I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. My internet was down over the weekend. I'll try to drop them off to you in the next few days. |

It's all good! I've been meaning to get over to your place as well to look at them. When we manage to get together lol, I'll compare mine to yours to see if mine will work, and if not I'd love to have yours! Thanks!
