TOOELE TURKEY RUN

[Meticulous madness]

DH needs some help getting a good grade (plus, it's all for a good cause). He's doing a group project, organizing a 5K run, to benefit the Tooele Food Bank.

We need anybody who's willing to walk, run or crawl to show up next Saturday, November 10th at 9:00 a.m. (Registration is at 8:30 or pre-register on-line at this link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). The race begins at the top of Smelter Road and ends at Elton Park. You can read the details on the website.

The cost of the race & t-shirt is $10.00 (but you get one dollar off for every canned good or non-perishable item that you bring - so ten items equals one free t-shirt).

I personally will not be there as I have to host a bridal shower that morning. But, I know it will be a wonderful and worthwhile event for all you athletic and/or charitable people out there.

I know. It IS a great place to let people know. Especially because we have so many athletes lurking around this place!
