Where is everybody?

The boards have been pretty quiet today. Just wondering where everyone is.

Playing catch up on all the house work. My house has been sick for the whole month! One of my girls came home from school yesterday because she vomitted. I fetl so bad for Mrs. Aagard. Oh, well. Stuff happens. But then the feelings really hit the fan when I went to pick up my husband from the bus stop at 7:15ish last night. I told him about ellie and I said that I didn't know where is was coming from. He said it is because our house is filthy. I just about started crying. I felt what a jerk. I was in automatic silent mode. Now just to let you know my house in never spotless. I am not a housekeeper. But we do not have bugs everywhere, we do not find mice droppings everywhere, we do not stick to the floor when we walk. I do not feel that my house is filthy. My house my not be spotless. But it is generally clean. Aaah, now that feels better.

Doesn't it feel good to get that off your chest? Now you can go back to keeping your house clean the way you clean it w/out feeling guilty.

Sorry, I have been in Salt Lake ALL DAY! I thought I was prepared to go to the social security office to get my youngest daughter a replacement card but...... NO.

I forgot a document that was not on the website list but was on the list at the actual office. And the description for the document didn't really make sense. I guess you can't just use a birth certificate you need another form of identity (hospital bill, insurance card & etc.).

I had all of those records at home and I didn't want to drive all the way home and back again. Fortunately, I was able to go to the department of health and get a paper with her name on it.

I am glad that's over!

CrazyK - Don't worry about it! My husband says things like that all the time. Sometimes they say the first thing that comes to mind. It's kind of entertaining

I know how you feel about being sick for the whole month cause that's where we've been as well!!! Cold, after cold! One ends, and another one starts! What is the deal?!! It's really bizarre too, because you'd think now that it's starting to warm up (well, until it snows tomorrow!:a036 ) that there wouldn't be as much sickness. Hmmm, I just don't understand. $20 dollar moment, huh?

I'm so sorry K and you others. I hear this from a lot of wives. I just feel so lucky, because honestly my husband does just as much housework as I do. Sometimes I feel bad, but not because he has said something. Just because he has so much to do and yet he is still always willing to do his share. He has never and I mean never said a demeaning word to me about my housekeeping. As far as he is concerned, he's married to his wife and the mother of his children not to his employee. He has always just taken the attitude that if it bothers him that the dishes aren't done, or the floor not vacuumed, or the bathrooms not cleaned he'll do it himself, and I am very grateful for that.

Anyway I haven't been online today, because I had preschool. Even though it is only two hours, it's an all day event for me. It didn't help that the baby wanted to attend preschool today instead of taking a nap. Of course she had to cry the whole time too. Yet, some how we made it through.

BS, what's the story?

ha ha, the $20 moment eh... Stay tuned. I'm going to blog about it because it's that good.

However, with inflation and other circumstances, it's now the $100 moment, and I can't usually afford it.

Too funny and I cannot wait to read about it!

I have been busy with teen dramas lately. JJ also had his science fair project due on Monday and it is a huge one. Should be interesting getting that done this weekend.
