Erudite, I think you're a day late and a dollar short on this request. At least for me. I can't commit to no chocolate a whole year from now. Let's think of something a little more do-able like, keeping the house clean every minute of every day for a month. |

| LOL now come on...you don't want to picket Walmart with nice placards and stuff? Down with Valentines Day! Up with healthy snacks! Cupid is overweight! It would be such an adventure, doncha think? |

| Erudite, I totally agree. I can share with you what I do about it. My children brought home their stashes yesterday. I just let them go at it. They ate whatever they wanted, shared some with their little brother and sister and yes even with me, then they hid it. Yep hid it. They have been taught well. If I don't know where it is I can't get at it. My husband does the same thing. If he insists on having something in the house that is on my "potential for abuse" list then he hides it. He has many places throughout the house. Now for the funny story that goes along with this. Not because it will give you any ideas on how to handle this problem, but it is sooooooo funny. Right after Christmas when all the Christmas candy was on sale I came up with this brilliant idea. I bought four bags of Hersheys Kisses for like $1 each. I thought I could use the red and silver ones for Valentines and the gold and green ones for St. Patricks day. As soon as I got home I instructed my husband to divide the colors up into seprate bags according to holidays and hide them. This is by no means an unusual thing for me to ask of him so he preceeded to sit right down and do it. And they were gone. Well, at the beginning of the month I needed the Valentines ones to put together a little something for my preschool kids and I asked my husband to please pull out 15 red and silver kisses, just enough for the kids to do their project. He couldn't find them. He has been looking for two weeks now and nothing. They will most likely show up the day after St. Patricks day of course. Dia |

| ha ha ha... I just got an image in my mind about kids dragging a U-Haul behind them full of candy! Teeny - I don't put butter. It usually sticks pretty well because the pie filling is wet and it absorbs a bit of the top layer. Just sprinkle what is left in the tin on top of the pie |
