| I have recently realized that I use food as a way of distraction. If I am anticipating something I feel the need to stuff my face. I think it is because I don't want to focus on what is going on. But in the end I double my anxiety because I have just eaten what I didn't want to.... Ha ha |

| I think that's perfectly normal. Not desired but normal none the less. So what do you think you can do to STOP. I tend to do the same thing. Actually, I think my problem is more that I don't eat often enough. |

| That's not what I'm saying their MISS grouchy bottom. I just don't stop what I'm doing often enough is all I'm saying. |

| My problem is not that I emotionally eat, I will emotionally starve. It's just a stress thing I think. |

| It's funny, but for me the solution to both BS and AP is the whole "eat more often" thing. By eating 6 small meals, I find I don't think of food that often any more so that it isn't what I do in response to events in my life. And if I'm hungry or want to eat (in response to events in my life) if I'm eating 6 small meals, I'm allowed to eat, but not overeat.Giving myself permission to eat makes the whole thing easier for me. I can't say "I'm never gonna touch chocolate chips again" because I am. So giving myself a way to work in all that has been a good thing for me. I loved the discussion on lunches because there are a lot of good nutricious choices that don't take that much time or effort...just mind over body, huh? |

| I'm completely the opposite. Once I start eating I have a hard time stopping so three meals is plenty for me. I'm learning when to say stop and I don't eat anything in between meals unless I'm really hungry and then I grab an apple or carrots. Even though I love chocolate, I have to be in the mood to eat it. Maybe all of this will change one day. I wasn't always this way. My appetite changed after having my 4th baby. |

| I've just started realizing that I do the same thing! I've been ultra stressed lately (due to the starting of our business) and I've noticed that every time I get VERY stressed it's like I just ravage the kitchen! |
