Someone recently shared with me that they were working on having a harder today for a better tomorrow. I'm trying to wrap my head around this one and figure out how it can apply to me. Any insight you want to share?

I think that is something I have been trying to say but didn't know how. I have always felt that we have been put here to work. I don't mean just to work physically but to work at our happiness and contentment in life. I want to take on challenges, I want to be given the chance to struggle so that I can learn and develop my ability to confront whatever may come. I know for myself as a parent this applies. I am new at it really. I only have a 2 year old and a 6 month old, so I know I will have much more to learn. I want to have more children and I don't want to be unprepared for the moments that will present challenges. So basically I see it that way.... Does that make sense?

That's pretty deep really. This applies to Body, Spirit, Finances (the "F" word), and almost anything you do in life. Basically, work hard today (not tomorrow) and it will pay off in the long run. Example: College. In the beginning, you are POOR, but in the end, depending on what your education is in, you end up much better off. At least that's the plan anyway right. Just don't get a degree in Political Science unless you plan on doing something completely different Keep em coming, I like the way you Gurls think.

Okay, enough of the funny business. I'm afraid I followed the path that led to "sacrificing tomorrow for an easier today" so now I'm needing to adjust my course and get on the path of "sacrificing today for a better tomorrow". Give me some advice on how to have that paradigm shift because my way is easier today so I don't really want to change but I know if I don't, my rut in this path is gonna get deeper.
