I've got my binder!

Okay, RAR and FoxyRoxy, I went out last night and got myself a binder and some baseball card pages so I'm all set to start organizing my coupons. I have them separated, like condiments in one page, paper goods on another.... Do you have your pages separated w/ dividers as well? I'm just wondering what you've found to be the most effective.

Here's the supplies that I have and I want to know if I need something different.

I have a total of 20 baseball page protectors (I thought 10 wasn't quite enough) and 10 (because I couldn't get a smaller amount) of the 4x6 picture page protectors thingys for those coupons that are just too big to fit inside those little slots. I also have 5 of those dividers that have pockets in them (I love these, I use them for my RS binder) but I don't know if I'll need them so I didn't open them yet. Anyway, if I could get your expertise on this it'd be awesome.

I used to use those little accordion style coupon books and I can already see that this system is so much more effective. Thanks for all your help.

it is great news. She called me on the phone today instead of typing it on the computer because there is so much to talk about. You know, RAR helped me to think of couponing in a different way. Use the money you save on groceries to go towards a vacation as a couple or a family. I thought that was cool!

Hey 5D, That is awesome that you are getting into the couponing thing too. RAR and others got me into it too. I got a binder recently and I must say it has helped me quite a bit. I'm not as into as the others. I"m still learning. But it is fun and I feel I'm saving my family money and were getting to get thing we usually wouldn't get and not paying that much for them!

Well, it sounds like you and I are in the same boat. It's nice to know I have a fellow rookie-couponer out there that can understand my intimidation of the giant clip-n-savers amongst us.
