Our wonderful wardrobes!!

I thought maybe others might relate to this about how wonderful your wardrobe becomes after you have children and have been married for what seems like an eternity.

It seems that I can't find time to get dressed before I take the kids to school in the morning. So I scurry off into the van in my lovely P'j's which now consist of my husbands worn out t-shirts and sweats that I bought in the eighties. I can never find any slippers so I put on shoes I can slip on, which just happen to be my dress shoes with heels. As I am running out the door I usually grab any jacket closest to the door. Today's jacket of choice was a sweater I bought pre-children that I swear I am going to fit into someday.

Anyways, our van has been having a little trouble lately and it hit me today on my way driving back from school.

I wanted to warn any of you that might be my good neighbors. In case of any van break downs and you see a lady in old sweats, a tight sweater and heels, its not a bag lady its just me.

No, I believe we're all among friends here on this forum. Have you guys ever looked at yourself as you were about to walk out the door and wondered, what if I got into an accident today? This is how I would look when the policeman came to write up the report??? Or gone to the store for only 5 min. and everybody you know is there? Those are good times! ;D

I loved envisioning the heels with the sweats! This is fun getting to know you! I don't ever get the chance to talk to you. It is nice to know everyone has their moments. Maybe I'm not the only dork!

Yeah, I can totally relate to this too. Sad and funny at the same time but it is all so true! This is so much fun getting to know you LnF, you are so funny and such a terrific friend and neighbor. Thanks for being you, keep it up

The other day I came home from running the kids to school and BS looked at me and said I was only missing the high heels. I'd like to pretend that people only look like that in Hollywood for an insane seen but not so my sisters. Welcome to reality.
