Hello Everyone,

I've been signed up for a little while now, but haven't had a chance to post anything. I get started and then somehow I end up getting interrupted by my kids

...anyway...about me.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 6 years now, we have two beautiful children, an 18 month old boy and a 4 month old girl. They are close and definitely a handful. I met my husband out here in Tooele at the singles ward. He was the Elders Quorum president (interesting how callings can keep recurring!!) and I was the R.S. President. We dated for a year and then got married. I stay home with my cute children and enjoy every minute of it. I do have a paralegal degree and enjoyed working at a law firm for 7 years before we had our children.

I love to sew!!! I enjoy working on rag quilts and trying my hand at other quilting projects. I love to embroider, both by and and by machine. I have been trying my hand at decorating and am slowly making progress throughout my house. Although none of the rooms in my house are completely done, they are started and I think I'm making pretty good progress.

We'll that's about all there is to know...I'm looking forward to this forum and getting many ideas and sharing my ideas and thoughts!!

Welcome! It's great to see you here. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just decorate one room in one weekend? There are times that piecing a room together is discouraging...it's building patience right? Well, anyway, it's great to have you here - finally - and see ya 'round the boards!

You know me! I'm your neighbor. I really like your family and hope to hear more about you all. Hopefully this summer we can all get together once in a while. Neighborhood Barbecue anyone???

BTW - I like the decorating you have done in your son's room. I am eager to start on my daughters room. They will be bunking up when the next one comes. I have already purchased a gallon of baby yellow paint. I am thinking about doing half lavender and half baby yellow with some kind of vinyl boarder on the walls... Or maybe a wood panel with only a saying on one wall. I love decorating now that our home is ours.

Welcome! Welcome! That is awesome that you love to sew. I probably couldn't to save my life. I would rather organize my house than sew or iron. Which is funny because my husband sews and irons. Anyway, it will be good to get to know you.

5D, I have never tried stapling something but I will now. Though I always can ask my husband to do it

Are you an organizer freak like me? My friends out here think I am a freak but I just think that I am normal. When I finally get into a house I want to design it around organizing; okay so maybe I am a freak

Yes, Yes, and Yes! The more kids I've had the less time I have to work on that little hobby of mine. But I do love it - it feeds my soul. I love a house of order. Organization and order go hand in hand, don't you think? Okay, see what you did? You got me going.

You're not a freak. There was a time when I wanted to go into interior design just so I could decorate homes that had a twist of organization to them.

I am so glad to have someone else like me. I actully just helped (well, she paid me) to organize her whole house. Believe me I didn't get paid enough. And what is so hard is that I go back now and it is back to the way it was. My friends make fun of me that I pick up my house 5x a day. I just function so much better that way. Anyway it is good to know I am not the only one. We'll have to set up an over organizing annonymous (OOA)

I so used to be like that (OO) but my kids keep me grounded because they keep the house a mess. But now I'm just organized - and coming up with great ideas from great friends. I had one who just helped me reorganize my kids' cleaning schedules. It's working awesome!
