"Beau Jest" is coming to movie theaters in Utah, including Cinemark, Megaplex, and Carmike on February 22. Here is a link to it's home page: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] . It is produced by two family members of Miss Margene's creative classroom, where my girls go for dance. In other words, one of Miss Margene's (the head mistress) former students and now teacher, parents produced the movie. It is advertised as a "great romantic comedy featuring known Hollywood actors . . . . It is rated PG and contains no offensive material. Your mother would approve!"
We are doing a fundraiser for Miss Margene's. Usually I do not participate in these fundraiser, because I hate asking people to spend money on something they normally wouldn't buy. However, in this case, there is nothing for anyone to buy from me. Miss Margene's will we receive $.50 for every ticket purchase that is accompanied with a fundraising card. On the card is a bonus for a $10 off coupon on the DVD when it comes out. If you have any interest in seeing this movie at all, will you please contact me and I will make sure you get a card. All you have to do is, hand the card to the cashier, when you purchase your ticket. They should then mark how many tickets were purchased. If you want your coupon for the DVD, just write your email address on the bottom of the card and they will email it to you.
I have to have all the cards pass out before Febuary 22nd. However, I have an unlimited supply, so even if you just think you might see the movie sometime between Feb. 22 and March please let me know.
It looks like a really good movie, either for a date night or for the whole family.
