I want to have a BBQ for BnSer's (I'm always looking for a reason to have a party). It can be in my front yard (we have absolutely no shade in our back yard.)

What do you think? Do you want to do it before school or after Labor Day? Anyone have a suggestion for day/time? I know it'll be fun. Let me know what you think...

Fun. I agree, any excuse for a party!!! Are you talking families? Or just couples?

I don't really have any suggestions for a day/time. Maybe we could combine it somehow with the night games? I don't know. Maybe that's too much. Sorry I'm not a lot of help!

I'm in for a party. Anytime works for me, except for Wed and Thurs nights.

Was it ever decided if the Barbeque is for family or Couples?
Have we decided on a day and time? Friday or Saturday nights are the
best for me . I am excited for a party.

Sorry guys for not getting back to you sooner. There's a lot going on around here.

Let's do the BBQ as couples. Free dates are always #1 on my list! And my vote is to do the BBQ next Friday or Sat. (8/8 or 8/9). You pick. Please make it quick as that's only 7-8 days away.

As for where we do it, I don't care. My front yard is still open for grabs, but if you're willing to do it in your back yard, Amber, I'm all for that. (I don't mind not having to clean my house.)

So, does this work for everyone?

I'm thinking it is a bring your own:
meat (and buns), flatware/utensils/cups, and assigned item (i.e. baked beans, chips, etc.)

condiments and drink will be provided

I have found it's hard to get an exact head count on this thread so if you plan to attend please PM me by Tues. and I will try to have assignments out by Wed.

Saturday the 9th would would be great for me. I and my husband will

We have a family party planned for that entire weekend..so we won't be able to make it..have a great time!!! It sounds like tons of fun and we'll miss getting together with you all!

and actually... we are painting on that weekend the final coats. What about another weekend?

It's our anniversary this weekend (or atleast that's when we're hoping to celebrate). So, we'd need to do it a different weekend also. Sorry.

What other weekend would work for you? I called to see if we could use the church pavilion and we were told yes. Every Friday this month is free. So.....name the weekend and I'll reserve it.
