Conversation Between Two Members

Big S I just wanted to know how the conversation feature works.

Can others see a conversation going on between two members or is it private?

I'm not even sure if I'm asking this right so if it isn't clear BS, just let me know and I'll try again.

Are you talking about the stuff in your profile?

Yes, I found it in a profile. This is what happened:

I went to send a PM and noticed a link that said "see conversation with . . . " and the name of the person I was talking to. I thought maybe it was a way to carry on a conversation like IM.

Is it? and can other members see it?

Actually it says "View your conversation with . . . ."

I don't have any PM's, so I'm not sure.

It sounds like it's simply a listing of your PM's between one user. If it is indeed that, then it is not viewable by other members.

No, it doesn't look like a PM. It looks to me like I posted a message directly on to SMILEY's member page. However, I don't know if we are the only ones that see it, or if everyone can look at her member page and see it.

yes those are visible to other members. Those are just messages in a users profile.
