I wasn't trying to help you find a solution. I can see how it sounded that way. Sometimes I forget that I'm talking to a guy. I can just ask direct questions.

What would make a great birthday for you? I'm just interested, because I always feel like I could do better when it comes to celebrating birthdays and it couldn't help to get some outside ideas. When it comes to celebrating birthdays both DH and I are completely clueless, because neither one of our families are big on the typical birthday celebrations. I do ok with the kids birthdays. They get to pick dinner, what kind of cake they like and an activity to do with the family or friends. But when it comes to mine or DH I don't even know where to start. The problem is, neither does he.

I believe you just hit the nail on the head for myself. I hope for something, but never plan anything. I probably wouldn't like it even if it did happen.

For me, I just want to feel special. That's it. With that said, Diva, has made me feel special. I really have needed to learn a lesson and I think this might be the magical year that I learn it.
