Lazy Day

I had a lazy day today, one where I did absolutely nothing but watch movies w/ my kids. We had a blast. We just hung out and then the in-laws came over so we stopped and visited. Actually about 15 minutes before they came BS says to me, "My parents are coming over today." I ask when and he says w/ a huge grin on his face, "Any minute." I was dying! He told me they wouldn't care and I told them I would and then he said, "I know, that's why I told you." The house didn't get picked up before they came but we had a wonderful visit anyway. Good thing for MIL's who have raised their own children and don't care about a messy house. Anyway, I just enjoyed hanging out today doing nothing and having not a care in the world. It was fun, I've needed it for awhile. I just wanted to announce it because I wanted to share it w/ someone.

Did you stay in your PJ's too?

I am sure you know how to enjoy them cause they wont be around forever.

Yep, and I'll go to sleep in them again tonight! Yeah...one of those days.

I think that's why I'm looking forward to Turkey day! If I could, I'd take my Lazy-Boy w/ me to my MIL's house.

Too bad it won't fit in the van!

Good for you! That sounds like fun. It is sooo hard for me to do that anymore. I say to my family that we're going to have a lazy day and not do anything all day, but before you know it I'm up and cleaning. I think it's turned into an ocd big time! I need to learn to relax more!

You still have a baby. I'm a cleaning freak when I have crawling babies in the house. I vacuum probably 3 times a day. Lazy days are easier to take when you don't have a KG'r.

That's true. And now that he is walking it is trouble all the time. Aaaah! But he's so cute. One day I will relax. But in the mean time let's hope I don't go to crazy.
