How many of you were aware that October, along with being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is also Pegnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month? I wasn't. October 15th at 7:00, which sadly has already past, has been sent aside as an official day and time to remember the loss of pregnancies and/or babies lost to miscarraige, still birth, or infant death. With so many of us on this having lost pregnancies and babies I wanted to share. For more information visit: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I also wanted to let you know, one of my favorite support group websites is: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. There is lots of information specifically for LDS members and a message board as well. The book "Gone To Soon" is written by an LDS author and also has some wonderful helps. It had some pretty amazing facts on pregnancy, that any mother or mother-to-be would enjoy. Along with ideas to help in the grieving process it had information for those around me help me deal with my loss. It is a great read for those of you that have had miscarriages and for those of you that know someone who has or someday will. Here is to remembering, together, in October. Dia

I'm doing fine. Every month I get a little better. It is two steps forward, one step back process. My sister is coming up from New Mexico to have her baby next month and I'm a little worried what that is going to do. Our due dates were just weeks a part. She can be a little tactless, so I'm preparing myself to handle what may or may not come out of her mouth. On a positive note the girl's Nutcracker performance will be on Levi's due date and we are planning a celebration in his honor surrounding our family Nutcracker tradition. We are hoping to get as many family members to attend the performance that night as possible. Dia

Thanks for sharing this. It is nice to having places that we can give each other support with difficult things like this. I think that it is great that they set aside a day that we can remember the loss of our little ones. It brings us all together to support each other. Thanks!

Support groups are so beneficial. No one can empathize like someone who has actually experienced the same kind of loss or tragedy. I like your idea about celebrating after the Nutcracker performance. Good for you!
