Stardust the movie

My DH and I rented the movie Stardust recently. It was a "let's give it a try" pick from the redbox. My whole family liked it. It was adventurous and humorous. My kids sat down and watched it again. I remember it being pretty clean. We were very happily surprised.

Thanks for the review, Stargazer. I'll have to check it out. We love redbox. I have seen this one there, but didn't know anything about it. Is it even rated? It seems like it might be a non-rated one, and you never know what you are getting with those.

I checked into it through our library network. If it is the one with Michelle Pfeiffer, Charlie Cox, & Robert De Nero, it is rated PG-13 for "some fantasy violence and risque humor."

I was just going to post on Dia's thread about this movie! We saw it a couple of months ago and really liked it.

My kids are 11, 8, 5 & 5. I felt ok about letting 11 and 8 watching it, I don't even remember what 5 & 5 were doing at the time, probably in and out of the room.
