Free Baby Stuff

I have a baby front carrier, a johnny jumpup, and a diaper changing pad that I am giving away. If anyone would like them just let me know.

The front carrier is for holding the baby toward you, it is not the really cool ones that the baby can face out in. The johnny jumpup is a soft quilted one with no tray that latches on to any door frame. The changing pad is one of those nice thick ones that goes on top of a dresser. The cover is included and it is still in excellent condition.

I'm sure I will be finding more baby stuff to post, if you or anyone you know could use it, please let me know.

Getting rid of baby stuff is a big step in a mom's life. I know it is bittersweet for you. I don't need anything (my "baby" is 7 now)...just offering support.

Hey thanks, Natick. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think another would be nice, but I just don't think my body will let me. To get through it I have told myself it is no big deal if I do have another one to replace the stuff I gave away. Right now it will just be nice to not have the constant reminder and also get the basement cleared of all storage so we can start working on it. It really is bitter sweet.

I know what you mean Dia, although I must say, giving away my baby stuff was more on the sweet side. The only thing I think about is "what happens if birthmom gets pregnant again?!?!?"

I am trying to concentrate on the positives and make it more sweet then bitter Missy. I like to think about my youngest being two and half and not only am I not due to have a baby this month, but I'm not even pregnant. It has been nine years since I could say that. I'm looking forward to my soon to be five year old going to kindergarten next year and only have my youngest around to spoil and play with all day. I picture having more time to not just clean my house, but decorate it and do all the other things I have been putting off to take care of babies. It will be nice. My biggest worry is that by the time I convince myself it is ok to be done, I will find out I'm pregnant. It has happened before.
