I might be out of line to start this new thread but I was talking to my neighbor this week about her and her husbands new business they started and how it was going. Her and her husband started a new business last fall and are really trying to get it off the ground so I thought I would put the word out there if anyone is in need of their business. They opened a shop in Salt Lake City to do Auto Body work. So please spread the word and I will get more information and a name for you.

Also I just wanted to spread the word that my husband builds utility trailers as a little side job for anyone who is interested. Maybe for anyone who needs one for a motorcycle or ATV or just to haul things. He makes all sizes and does a great job. I will attach photos.

I thought Amber you could post about the carpet cleaning business you are involved to let people know.

Anyways I just thought if anyone else has a product or service we could spread the word on the forum. Hope nobody minds. Thanks.

What a great idea LostnFound! I can't wait to see the results this idea generates....all but me getting a utility trailer that'll sit on the side of my house that is.

We should make a category just for this kind of stuff. What do you think we should call it? We could have it include buying/trading/searching for/selling/giving stuff away too. A sort of BodynSpirit Classifieds kind of thing.

Just tell me what you want to call the forum and we'll create it. I think this is a good idea too.

I had no idea Amber was in the carpet cleaning business, as ... we NEED some carpets cleaned pretty bad.

Maybe we could have our own Thrifty section and call it something like the "Nifty Thrifties." How original huh? I'm sure BS or 5'D could come up with something a little more creative.

I thinkt he title classified would be perfect. It is general for everything from selling services to buying/selling furniture. But maybe we could be more creative just for the fun of it.

Yes BS I do work for a carpet company it's called class act carpet cleaning and it is locally owned by Tom Lewis. He is a great guy and actually did my entire house when we moved in. He invested in a truck mounted system that uses much more power than a steamer. He will show up on time and does a great job. I was going to use stanley steamer at first but then he pointed out that the larger companies tend to hire cleaners that are young and inexperienced. And they say they are cheaper until they come in and say things like "oh that will cost you more because of so so".

As most of you know I am a BIG thrifty shopper. I am a bit addicted so I would be all over that thread!

I actually know him. I've play basketball with him, and you are right, he's a good guy. At least if it's who I'm thinking of anyway.

Hey Thanks J! I happen to be the neighbor she is speaking of about the auto body shop which I talked about in my intro on another thread. It is called Top Gun Auto Body. We are located in Salt Lake pretty close to the Costco that is right off of I-15 and 21st south. If anyone has work that needs done, or know of anyone that may be interested, let me know, and I'll make sure to get some more info including business cards to you. Thanks again J!
