Hey all of you that are working the Aloe Vera, I'm not loosing the wieght, at least not very quickly. I'm not blaming this on the Aloe Vera, because I realize I am still eating too much of the things I shouldn't. However, I wanted to inform you on the other benefits I have noticed to see if you too have had positive side effects. 1. Regular bowel movements: Hopefully I don't need to expand on that. Let's just say everything is running smoothly. 2. Immune booster: Everyone around me is sick with aweful colds. I have not been sick. I have felt like I might come down with a cold, with slight tingling pressure in my sinus and an even slighter sore throat, but the symptoms dissappear before it breaks into a cold. 3. My skin is clearing up: Hopefully it stays clear through my next cycle. I should know if it is really helping here in the next couple of weeks. 4. Anti-inflammatory: In the past I have had a couple of days a week that I am in a lot of pain. Mostly in my fingers and through my arms and legs. I haven't been diagnosed with anything, but it feels like what I would imagine being arthritus, but not just in the joints. I diagnosed myself has having some sort of inflammatory problem. I have only had one day in the last 6 weeks, were I felt like I might be headed for an "episode", but seemed to pull out of it before it hit. Anyway, here is your chance. Update me on your progress.

hmmm...well, I have not been using aloe vera, but have had the exact same results with my regimen, which includes at least 6 fruits and veggies a day, plus a nutritional shake. What you describe as a inflammatory issue is exactly how you might have described my illness of the past 2.5 months, but it's been clearing steadily for the past two weeks since I have become absolutely religious about my F&V. I'm also thinking that maybe reducing my meat intake (due to upping my V intake) is helping. Hope that doesn't throw you off or anything. I just thought it was interesting that my results are so similar. Oh..and I have lost a bit of weight in the last two weeks. I've started exercising again regularly (I started the couch to 5K training officially this morning!) and lowered my food intake to "weight loss" levels...just 1 pound a week level. So that's what's accounting for my recent (and hopefully continuing) weight loss.

Nope doesn't throw me off at all. I have shown benefits by cutting back on simplified carbs and increase fruits and veggies as well. I'm actually averaging about 8 a day. However, I was still having episodes. So the increased anti-inflamatory properties of the Aloe Vera Juice gave me the extra boost I needed. Yeah Erudite! You go girl!
