Gold's Gym Membership

My DH and I have been given a great opportunity to join Gold's Gym this week and wanted to share the information if anyone else wants to join. This has been offered thru my DH's business partner. It is a VIP pass for $300.00 + tax, for 3 1/2 years membership about $317.00). This is a one time payment that will cover all expenses for at least 3 1/2 years. (The Gold's rep has indicated he will extend the offer for a couple months past the 3 1/2 years, but I'm not sure if that's 2 or more months....the membership is for at least the full 3 1/2 years). The VIP pass covers the day-care, raquetball, tanning beds and swimming pools where available. The full amount is due at time of sign up, but then there are no additional costs for the length of the membership (NO monthly maintenance costs). We figured out the monthly cost and it was around $7.00 per month, rather than the $30+ per month of a regular membership. Sounds phenomenal! I was SOOOOO sad when I lost out on a great monthly deal at my old gym, and had to give it up after being a member for 5ish years.
