Default Need a Pat on the Back

I had a hard time getting my workout in this morning. I think it has more to do with my emotional state than my physical state. I started with some new toning excercise that I couldn't complete one set on, let alone two, and was disappointed. However, I pulled through the toning and right into the cardio and finished my complete routine. I feel like I was just going through the motions and not really giving 100%, but I finished. I did it.

Good Job! That is great that you pushed through even though your motivation was low. I have got to get back into a routine. You should be very proud of yourself for sticking it out.

Great job! Keep it up! I've heard that exercise is a mood regulator. Hopefully you felt better emotionally after your workout. You definitely should be proud of yourself!

Mmm brownies! That really sounds good right now! Don't beat yourself up, Mamallama. I have done that a lot more than I should. And congrats Dia! That is a huge accomplishment to even starting your workout. And even though you may feel like you didn't give it 100%, at least you did it! That is way more important!

Heehee. 8 Brownies! I love it. I purposely buy the tiny brownie mix bags so that I can't do too much damage at any one given time. I could literally eat the whole pan, if I don't pay attention.

So, if the package ONLY makes 6, and DH, and DD will inevitably want one...at the very worst...I might eat 4 - 4 1/2. I have NO discipline!

I'll make you feel better, ML...last night I ate 4 huge chocolate chunk cookies (and atleast the equivalent of two more, in cookie dough).

So, I could DEFINITELY take a few lessons from you DIA! Both for work-out perseverance and for eating better. Jeepers!!! No wonder I feel THICK today.

You ladies are funny. I too have had those moments where I have eaten too much of something, mostly chocolate somethings. Thus, I still have over 10 lbs to go to get back to where I was just a couple of months ago. Don't be to hard on yourselves. I have a few chocolate recipes that would be a little better for you, if your interested, otherwise enjoy, don't worry.

Thank you all so much. I remembered a while ago that Diva posted needing a pat on the back and I thought that was such a good idea. I was just waiting for the perfect time to ask for mine. And you all delivered. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Even though I felt like I had done a decent job, I just really need to hear it from someone else. Someone else besides, Fubeca that is. He is so good at telling me what I need to hear, I just get so use to it, it is always nice to hear from somebody else.
