I know this too will pass. I know that at one point or another I felt like this with all my children, even my last that pretty much potty trained herself. But my two year old is really testing my patience. She refuses to go peepee in the potty. She loves going poopies and makes it everytime. She loves dumping and flushing and getting a reward. So, why won't she pee in the potty!? Its like she doesn't even care. I encourage her to sit on the potty every 30 mins. She will set there happily and then wet her panties five minutes later. URRRRGH! Anyway, I really just needed to let it all out. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear about your dismal potty training moments, Dia. Hope it works itself out soon. I don't look forward to it. I'm fully anticipating potty training two kids at least w/in a year of each other. That should be interesting!

Well, I was at my mom's yesterday afternoon and I had my mom watch her carefully and work with her a bit. My mom seems to have some sort of potty training magic. She has been able to take some of my nieces and nephews that their parents have been working with for weeks and are failing and have them trained in a matter of days. Well, after working with her for a couple of hours she reaffirmed to me that she just might not be ready. For some reason she is just not catching on to the pre-pee feeling. Then when she pees, she doesn't seem to care that it runs down her legs. So I'm going to put it aside for another month or until she starts asking again. I have been feeling a little stressed over it and I find myself getting sharp with her and that can only lead to trouble. So, I think it will be best to just set it aside until we both feel like we are ready.

I am so with you on this one. Though my daughter who will be three at the end of December won't poop or pee in the potty. It is driving me crazy. I am having another baby in December and would really love to have her potty trained before that. She has no interest what so ever. She was closer a year ago than now. I too feel at my end with the whole thing. I know she just probably isn't ready yet but I am so ready for her to be ready. I thought girls were supposed to be easier with this.
