| Dijon pork chops This is recipe is called "dijon" and I put it in below as the real recipe says, but I now leave it out. The first time I made it, 1/4 cup was WAY too much so the next time I just put in a TBS and it was still a lot. The final time, I left it out and asked TR if he thought the dijon was about right? He said it was...so I've been leaving it out ever since. 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup chicken broth 1/4 cup dijon-style mustard 1 tsp dried thyme, crushed 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp pepper 5 med potatos, cut into 1/4 inch slices 1 med onion 4 pork loin chops, 3/4 inch thick (or tenderloins which have the fat cut off) 1. In a large bowl combine soup, broth, mustard (if using), thyme, garlic, and pepper. Add potatoes and onion, stirring to coat. Transfer to the crock pot. Place chops on the potatoes. 2. Cover, cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or on high for 3.5 hours. |
