Peach recipes

I was given a bag of peaches and would like to know if anyone has any good recipes that include using peaches. I don't want to do any jam because I have plenty of jam. Please share if you have any good recipes.

One year I bottled fruit cocktail- it was yummy and my kids loved it later in the winter. I just used a basic syrup like if you just can peaches, and added chopped pears, grapes and other stuff- I don't even remember...

I really love Peach Cobbler (especially made in the dutch oven). There are some great recipes out there. I don't have access to any of my own right now. I'll try to get back to you later.

In the meantime, I know you can find some on the internet. It takes a little more patience to weed through them all, but you'll find a bunch of variations that way.

I didn't notice that you asked your question on the 7th. You probably already did something with the peaches by the time I wrote on the 10th.

So...how did it go? Did you end up making something, or just eating them? DO TELL!

When I was a kid I used to slice them and dip them in a bowl of sugar and then savor every bite. I did the same with strawberries. My parents probably never knew the secret to my hyper-active side.
