Default Field Trip: Treehouse Museum

I was looking on the internet and found this. It's supposed to be a place where kids feel like they've stepped into the pages of a story book. I thought it looked like fun. My kids already love to read (except for one) so I think this would just reinforce their love for it. Anyway I thought it would be a great kick off to a summer reading program or a fun reward to reading minute goals or just a fun place to take your kids to encourage them to read.

This sounds like a really neat thing. I looked at the web site you posted. I would be interested. It said that we could get a discount for groups and that we need to call ahead two weeks. Lets do it.

Sounds good. Would you mind calling them or e-mailing them to find out if our group would be eligible for the discount?

That is fine. I need to have an approximate number of people.

I think it would be fun to go, depending on when you do it. Just don't plan around me. Do it when it is best for you.

Find out if there's a criteria that has to be met. That might affect who goes.

I looked on their website briefly, but my computer was being really slow. What ages of kids would enjoy going there?

I don't know, YT (stargazer) has been there a long time ago. Maybe she could answer that question for you.

Why don't we make Wed. the 13th (Wednesday) the deadline for those who want to go so we can schedule a field trip.

CK, I want to take me and my four oldest children (I'll leave baby home w/ BS) and Foxy Roxy wants to take her 5 children.

I talked to someone from the treehouse and she said for the money we should come on a sponsered time. It costs the same and we don't have to make a resurvation. She said Friday nights is the best. 6:00pm - 8:00pm. I am thinking that I would rather schedule something for the daytime.

I talked to someone there as well. Another sponsored time would be a Thursday night from 4-6. I'm thinking that's when I'd like to go. I've got the 28th free in my calendar. I think I'll take my kids up at that time. Anyone else interested in joining me?

If my husband doesn't need to take the car on the scout trip, then I would like to go. I would bring 3 kids.

On the 28th of June from 4-6pm the cost for adults if FREE and then each child is $3. You also can not take strollers unless there is a medical reason. We could pack a lunch or dinner or both and be up there all day or whatever. There are a few women over at my end of the world that think they might like to go also. So, I think there could be a lot of us. I think it will be fun!!!!!

Argh. My computer has issues and I didn't find out that this place is in Ogden until just now. Unfortunately, my schedule that day makes this impossible for me. I'm bummed!!!
