Who has their book and is ready to read. I know you still have until Monday. I'm just getting antsy I'll be honest and say I've already started reading, but that's okay because I'm taking my time and going slow trying to digest what I'm reading.

I bought it on ebay for $6.99 and shipping was $6.00. I don't know if this is the best deal but it's just about the same cost it would be for me to drive into Salt Lake to a library. I didn't price around. I didn't have the time. It's sound like a keeper though so I am glad I purchased it.

It is cheaper (the shipping included) than if you bought it at a store.

Retail is $17, I've seen new as low as $11. You'd probably need to buy 2 books to get it for a good price since shipping kills the deal.

Latter-day Book Store here in town is expecting their books in on Monday. I'm just waiting for that shipment. I may be lagging behind you all a bit, but I'll try and catch up.

Do you know how many books that they have ordered in?

I don't know if you know this but if you'll tell them you're part of a book club they'll give you a discount.

I don't know how many books they've ordered, but they did mention a book club discount and are giving a 20% discount on this particular book. They told me it will cost about $14.50. Better than full price anyway!

That's awesome. I think that is a great price. Thanks for letting me know. I think I'll have to get an additional copy since BS is having a hard time parting w/ his own.

I didn't know about the discount. That is really neat.

I think I'll go buy from there, once they get their shipment in, too. If they only have a few, I'll let you guys have them. I atleast have the rented copy to get me started.

Great news on the books. Don't worry about catching up. The end of this week is going to be CRAZY, so I doubt I'll get much if any reading done. I'm only on page 4 or something like that. But I did read all the intro, etc etc stuff.

Well, you were only going to start reading on Monday, right? Or were you going to start discussing on Monday?

What are everybody's plans for this book club anyway? Are you just reading at your own pace and commenting when you want or are you going to read the same thing at around the same time? Just wondering so I can know what I need to be doing.
