In reference to "... 90% of all physical problems have psychological roots...," I was wondering what kind of things your body has done that said your feelings were buried alive? Have any of you been able to connect, for example, heartburn or getting sick all the time to unresolved feelings? For me - I actually started having anxiety attacks about 6 years ago in relation to some childhood trauma. I thought I shouldn't express my feelings and they were also very intense because I hadn't been allowed to feel them for so long that I just kept stuffing them back down - probably mostly out of fear of the unknown and it was probably a habit by the time I was an adult. I'm sure there are other things I could think of but that was the most obvious one for me.

Good question 5D, and good observation on your part. I can't really say that I've personally been able to pin-point anything in particular. I'm a "baby steps" kind of person (as much as I wish I weren't) and the best I can say I've done is acknowledge that there is a definite NEED to make a connection. Sometimes making a connection is a difficult and emotional thing to do and some times it may not necessarily be hard to do, but rather just time consuming, or requiring active effort. I'll have to read over that part again.

Good point, MM. I know there are circumstances in which we have things happen to us and we are not the cause of the dis-ease and I also know that there are times when my body is telling me that whatever dis-ease is going on at the time will be remedied if I address some emotional issues I have. The trick is being willing to listen, learning the language of your body, and then having the courage to make the shift.
