Chapter 7 – The Script

Wow. Can I just say that again...WOW!

There have been so many thoughts and quotes in this book that have grabbed my attention. I keep marking things in pencil, folding down the page corners and then never actually posting a thread.

So, I'm sorry if this takes us a little ahead of the game (as far as postings), and I'm sorry if it comes out like a disorganized mess of ramblings. But, I feel like ML when I say that I'm just not going to be able to sleep or keep reading if I don't just hurry and write a few things down right now.

THE "SCRIPT"

Once you’ve reached a state of readiness, and the desire for a “Quantum Shift” you are ready to start becoming mindful or conscious of what you are feeling, what you are thinking, what you are saying and what you are doing. Once you tune into your feelings and fully recognize them "you are ready to use the tool dialogue, the 'script' as I call it, that transforms those feelings."

The SOUL is comprised of the spirit and the body. Both need to be balanced to be in harmony. Maybe it’s no coincidence we are conversing on a site called Body 'N' Spirit and that most of the dialogue on this website is about the very essence of having (or obtaining) total and complete "balance" in our lives.

Karol goes on to say that "When I address my Spirit, I am talking to and instructing no one except my higher self, my intelligence, my spirit." I thought this was profound. To speak to your own spirit, conscious of what that actually means, is huge. In some form or another, we all probably [currently] do this. But, to strategically converse with our higher self on a daily basis? Now, that could put us on the road to major self-improvement in a huge hurry!

Personally, when I am in need of help, guidance or comfort, I pray for "Thy" spirit, and "The" spirit - not necessarily for "MY" spirit to help me. My “thought & feeling” after reading this chapter is that I need to have a continuous prayer in my heart, fervently asking my Father in Heaven for “Thy” spirit, “The" spirit and "MY" spirit - respectively. Differentiating between these "spirit" sources isn't something I have really been aware of until now.

Kuhn talks about how to process your feelings using the "Script." There are steps in the script that help to 1) sort through the feelings we have, 2) let go of the negative and 3) exchange the negative for positive feelings.

We use verbalizing techniques for forgiveness of ourselves and forgiveness of every person, place, circumstance and event which contributed to this feeling/thought. In my opinion, this is the act of utilizing the intimate and infinite blessings of the atonement.

Later in the chapter it reiterates that forgiveness opens the door for every kind of healing.

The last part of the script is an elective verbalization of appreciation for your spirit, and love/praise for God (from whom all blessings flow) - then doing so (closing) in the name of Jesus Christ.

Everything we do in the name of the Son of God has such eminent power! No wonder this can truly work, when one is ready and open-minded!

I could probably read this chapter a couple times and still not get out of it, all that I need to.

Wow, I loved what you had to say about chapter 7 MM. Thanks for your thoughts. I'm not up to speed so I'll get reading. I loved the thoughts you had about differentiating between "Thy" Spirit, "The" Spirit, and "My" Spirit. Sorry I don't have a lot to say. It's late and I haven't read the chapter yet. I just loved what you wrote so I had to comment.
