Thank you, Service Men and Women! I wanted to follow BW's lead with this thread...
Whenever I listen to the media I get the impression that overall we are unwanted over in IRAQ. The negativity that comes from this can be crippling. It got me to thinking that if that's the case in little Tooele, then maybe it's the case in other parts of the country. My concern for this is that whatever you send out comes back multiplied and if that's true then our men and women over in IRAQ are in trouble! So I wanted to just send out my thanks to all the men and women over in IRAQ (and other parts of the world) over this Memorial Day Weekend. I want to let them know that I know that what they are doing all over the world is for the good of mankind and that what they are doing are good things. I am humbled by their dedication and commitment to our country and to us as citizens. I want to especially thank those who have given the ultimate sacrifice so that I could enjoy the freedoms in this country.
My cousin is going over to IRAQ in one week (w/ the National Guard) and he told me that over here it sounds like no one in IRAQ wants us in their country but if you go over there about 90% of them love us there and appreciate so much what our soldiers are doing in their country. They truly appreciate being delivered from oppression. It brought tears to my eyes to hear him tell me that.
Anyway, here's to positive thoughts being sent out to the universe to be returned multiplied over and over to our service men and women over in IRAQ and all around the world. Without them my family wouldn't be able to enjoy the life we currently have. My prayer is that they may know that I feel they do not serve nor die serving our country in vain.
