BBC Mini Series: For the Love of Money

Last night BS and I watched the first of a three-part series called For the Love of Money. I loved it! It helped me understand how we [the nation] got where we are financially. It was written really well (much better than this review, I'm afraid) and everything about the presentation was captivating (it also had a great soundtrack - always a plus!).

We stopped and started a few times just so I could keep up, but for the most part it was easy to understand. It wouldn't surprise me if one day we saw it in a financial curriculum of sorts.

I'm hoping to get the DVD's so I could watch it over and over. I loved it!

I've now watched the 2nd part and it's equally good. Hope we can find the DVD's somewhere.

I looked them up at the SLC library and they do not have them. How new is it? Sometimes it just takes a couple of months for them to get them in, but they usually have the BBC DVDs, eventually.

It is really good. If I had a place to fit a large group I'd invite you over to see it w/ me. I would like to watch it w/ a crowd and talk about it after.
