Thanks Bookworm. Very helpful information. ---------- Post added at 02:18 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:10 PM ---------- Something similiar happened to us about a year ago. Matt picked up a movie called Millions at the used movie sales at Blockbuster. It was rated PG and looked like a very cute family movie. The kids watched it without us one afternoon. A week or so later they were watching it again and Matt and I were in and out of the room. We were completely shocked when we witnessed a scene of the older brother looking up bra ads online and showing his little brother how you could zoom in on the picture and see right through the lacey bra. The kids thought nothing of it. They are all just a little too young, but I was horrified. After doing a little bit more research I discovered that this film, (which was originally released at several film festivals, but never came out in the regular movie theaters), was released under PG and PG13 ratings. The only thing we could think of is Blockbuster put this particular movie back in the wrong case. In other words they put a copy of the PG13 movie into the PG case. I wish we would have taken it back and complained, but we just broke it and threw it away. |
